Gary Donnison Sponsership Deal Flourishes

Gary Donnison, the PGA golfer who is sponsored by the Bathgate Group of companies, justified the Company’s faith in him by winning the North of England Matchplay Title last month at Wilmslow Golf Club.

Gary, who has played on tour in the past, is the Professional & Director of Golf at Mobberley Golf Club based in Cheshire and is in his second year of sponsorship by the Bathgate Group.
Gary said:

‘I hold an onerous job as Golf Director & Professional of a golf club which is expanding rapidly and to have such a supportive sponsor as Bathgate helps me immensely’.

Mark Price, Group Chief Executive of the Bathgate Group, said:

‘We are all delighted with Gary’s success and look forward to his winning more golf titles in 2011’.

He added; ‘It is not only about golf. Gary is a very personable young man who is a great ambassador for the Company both on and off the golf course’.

Fund Raising Wall - St Mirren Football Club

This recently completed fund raising wall at St. Mirren Football Club, used Bathgate brickslips.

This is an ingenious way of raising funds for Clubs, Societies, Churches etc. Each slip contributed between £25 and £50 to the club funds.

The precise size and smooth finish of the Bathgate Slate Technologies slips lend themselves to the fine engraving requirements needed for these applications.
